Overview
- Job Base: Spearman
- Job Type: 2-2
Draconiers are a second class of Spearman, they have high mobility in the battlefield and are experts fighting against Dragons. Some Draconiers even have a dragon as a companion, which is able to support them in combat with powerful attacks and magic effects.
Job Change
REQUIRED ITEMS
ITEM NAME | QUANTITY |
---|---|
Blue Hair (Kobolds) | 4 |
Solid Trunk (Willows) | 1 |
Iron (Metalling) | 1 |
Sweet Milk (Savage Babe)(0,92%) | 1 |
Meat (Wolves) | 1 |
Rotten Meat (Roweens) | 1 |
Savage Meat (Savage Babe) | 1 |
In the map bellow Hugel an old man can teleport you (job level 40+ Spearman) to the town of Neet, or you may walk southwest of Hugel (hu_fild02 114/269)
...
In Neet there is a guy named ""Lloyd""
(Has a dark clothing + white hair + mask)
Tell him you want to be a Draconier.
He says that you have to feed the Dragon Pets of 4 other People (Maru's Dragon, Dart's Dragon, Rose's Dragon, Albert's Dragon) (They are marked on the mini map) You need 1x Sweet Milk, 1x Meat, 1x Rotten Meat, 1x Savage Meat. Feed all 4 Dragons:
Maru's Dragon Likes Sweet Milk, Dart's Dragon Likes Meat, Rose's Dragon Likes Rotten Meat, Albert's Dragon Likes Savage Meat.
Now Talk to the NPC again.
You need :4x Blue Hair, 1x Solide Trunk, 1x Iron.
He will give you a Brush, now you have to clean the Dragons, The brush will later Break, to Repair He needs:
4x Blue Hair, 1x Solid Trunk, 1x Iron.
After cleaning the 4 Dragons, you have to clean the Egg named "Dragon Egg" next to Shana.
Talk to Lloyd again, he give you a "Dragonbound". And he will ask you to equip it.
WARNING IF YOU EQUIP THE RING YOU WONT BE ABLE TO REMOVE IT UNTIL YOU FINISH THE QUEST
THE RING FORBIDS THE USE OF ANY TYPE OF TELEPORTATION BESIDES THE COMMAND @MAIN
It is recommended you ask for someone to escort you since the mobs on this map are quite tough and you may not be able to proceed through the quest alone.
""Lloyd"" tells you that Kongol have some Eggs for you
He needs you to find Kongol. He is around Abysslake Entrance.
You have to Walk, no Flywings, no Teleport, Go East to Hugelfield03 map, than go South to Hugelfield05 (thats the Abysslake Entrance map) On this map you'll find Kongol.
Kongol ist in a Wooden Podest, on the Right side of Abyss Lake Entrance in near of the Water. hu_fild05 325/213 He will give you 5 Eggs and after that you can let the mosters kill you to spawn in Neet again.
Talk To Lloyd again, he will give you a Lance (Guisarme), a random Element Egg(you can trade with lloyd for another element) and a Ring that boosts the effect of your Dragon Egg.
Now you are a Real Draconier.
Get your Dragon Egg from Lloyd, equip it (like a archer his arrows), and cast your DragonHatch-skill.
NOTE: Above Lloyd there's a old man which sells different ring types, a helm(Dragon Helm) and a One Handed Spear. You need Bijous to buy from him.
Builds
Dragon Only Fan
- STR: 90-99
- AGI: 1
- VIT: 80~90
- INT: 20-40
- DEX: 1-30
- LUK: 1-50
Weapons: Any Dagger or Spear with high ATK or utility.
The build focus on the use of your hatched dragon to deal damage and tank. Will it be mobbing monsters, taking or engaging one by one the dragon is a very powerful ally that can AoE and dish out enemies individually really fast.
The dragon is really tanky because his FLEE and DEF are not affected with amount of monster attacking (behaves similar to an homunculus).
The dragon Attack Damage depends on the player base ATK and weapon ATK not affected with % cards like Hydra. But it does get affected by cards like Andre and Zipper Bear.
The main stats of the build are STR and VIT. The first will give you higher Attack damage to the hatched dragon with the added bonus of increasing weight limit. VIT is mostly for the HP increase and damage reduction in conjunction with Draconian Instinct, will make really tanky against not so hard hitting enemies.
For the rest of the stats some INT to keep SP up with the auras. And if you like LUK for higher item drop chance.
The way to engage in combat with the dragon it's either with Dragon Magic (Element depends on hatched dragon) or the combo Dragon Charge & Draconic Savagery.
When using Draconic Mantle remember that every dragon has his own scaling of this skills and may not deal enough damage to feel viable if not build specifically for this.
Tips:
- Get an Obeaune Card. For the only purpose of curing Silence Status from your dragon. Yes re hatch can work but takes several seconds.
- Fortune Sword it's a very good weapon that can help you mob and tank.
- If your dragon runs out of SP or HP just re hatch it to recover fully.
