On Einherjar it's possible for Blacksmiths and Whitesmiths to craft armor, much like they can craft weapons in vanilla RO. The bonuses of elemental stones, star crumbs and ranks change depending on the equipment slot as seen below.

Other Effects

Normal Bonus

Applies for all the items crafted by Smiths.

New System Bonus

Consist in converting an item crafted by smiths. To convert the item to the new system you need to talk to the NPC Crafting Convert near the Prontera Fountain. The conversion requires 1 elemental stone which will be added into the new item. This will open 1 more slot in the item and insert the selected elemental stone in it. The added Elemental Stone goes into the FIRST SLOT.

For example by converting a Very Very Very Strong Knife with the NPC and adding a Flame Heart will result into a Knife with Fire Element (as the first slot stone) and 3 Star Crumbs. See table below for the result.

After doing a conversion the item can be further changed by swapping any of the elemental stone in it for any other with the help of a Stone of Yore and the NPC Ele Converter near the Prontera Fountain.
